2009 Auction Wrap Up

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Your Auction donations, bids, and volunteer efforts helped us raise just over $14,000 for the Fellowship year!

Your INVOICE detailing your won items and/or a DONOR REPORT detailing who won your offering will be mailed shortly. Please pay promptly.

And remember it’s the winner’s responsibility to contact the donor for TBD events. Some events still have openings too! Contact Dee Walters with questions regarding these.

Help Wanted for the Harvest Home Celebration & Auction

The Auction is turning Sweet Sixteen and the Fellowship is throwing a party to celebrate. For the first time, our annual auction will be an evening event, complete with food, drinks and entertainment! And we’ve chosen Harvest Home as a theme for the bounty we share by coming together at the Fellowship. Stay tuned for more information.

In the meantime, the Auction Committee is hard at work and needs a few more able bodies to join our smooth-running machine. Thankfully, we have every aspect of the Auction mapped out, so when you volunteer, you will know exactly what to do and how long it will take. (Best of all, the Auction is a once-a-year volunteer event, so it’s less of a time commitment.)

In addition, we have a wonderful new group of people serving on the Committee and there is lots of good energy and fun to be found.

Contact Heather Marshall if you can come on board as one of the three open positions:

Volunteer Coordinator who will:

  • Recruit volunteers for small, specific, AND already defined tasks
  • Help organize and assign volunteers (Again, very defined, just follow our roadmap)
  • Organize training of Auction table monitors

Food Coordinator who will:

  • Recruit our amazing Fellowship cooks to prepare a delectable appetizer/dessert
  • potluck
  • Head up the group of foodies already on board to help

Theme/Décor Coordinator who will:

  • Help create a look for our new theme: the Harvest Home Celebration and Auction
  • Find other creative types who can make us “ooh and aah” over decorations, posters, favors, etc.

The more hands involved, the lighter the job will be. Help us make our first Harvest Home Celebration & Auction a night to remember!
