Parent Responsibilities
This information is also on the back of the registration form, which needs to be signed off by parents. With our growing congregation, we are trying to make responsibilities clear, so that all can have a safe and enjoyable time!
Sign In and Check Out. Please sign in your child(ren) (5th grade and younger) on the clipboards for each classroom. Check off their names when you pick them up.
- Pick Up. Please pick up your child at 10 a.m. for early service and 12:15 p.m. for late service. (Our playground is supervised from 10 a.m. — 10:50 a.m. You are invited to take your child(ren) to the supervised playground between services.) Don’t forget to take a Parent Handout home with you! These handouts describe the activities of the day and can help promote discussion with your child.
- Playground. The playground is supervised between 10 and 10:50 a.m. Please let the playground supervisors know if you are picking up your child.
- The Tree! Children who can climb up and down the tree by themselves are invited to do so. Those who can’t make it up and down by themselves are not to climb with assistance unless their parent is supervising.
- Snack. We provide a simple snack and beverage at the end of each morning to enhance the children’s socializing (just like coffee hour!) Please let us know if your child has any food allergies that we should be aware of. Well behaved children third grade and older are invited to coffee hour with their parents as an option, but should not return to the RE hall with coffee hour snacks.
- Playclothes. RE classes will go outside nearly every Sunday, so please dress children accordingly.
